LOS ANGELES – Hosanna Broadcasting Foundation is pleased to announce its seventh annual fundraiser benefitting HIV/AIDS orphans. Blessing Africa will be held Sunday, Sept. 25 at South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes Peninsula. Hosted by KKLA on-air personality Reyna Day, Blessing Africa will feature a gospel brunch, live entertainment and fashion show. Proceeds from the event, which will also include an African bazaar, food, and silent auction, will be used to support two children’s project in Africa – Hosanna House and Hosanna Soccer League. Hosanna House is an orphanage for girls who have lost their parents due to the HIV/AIDS virus. Hosanna Soccer League is a program dedicated to caring for young boys who live under extreme poverty and who otherwise would not be able to attend school. Both programs currently assist more than 100 disadvantaged children ages 8 to 14.
“We look forward every year to our signature fundraiser that helps bring greater awareness to the needs of hurting children in Africa,” said Tersit Asrat, founder of Hosanna Broadcasting Foundation. “We are extremely grateful for the support of our many friends who partner with us year after year to help raise funds in support of this vital work,” said Asrat.
The afternoon will include lunch, live performances, Fashion Show, Live Auction and more.
